Executive Political Institute
The Program
The innovative Executive Political Institute provides corporations a unique in-house opportunity to inform their employees about Virginia government and politics from the Commonwealth’s most notable authorities. Hosted by Dr. Larry J. Sabato and the University of Virginia Center for Politics, the Executive Politics Institute will bring together corporate executives from across Virginia to discuss politics, government and history from a business perspective specifically tailored to the needs of the corporations. This program will incorporate insightful presentations and dynamic panel discussions by academics, policymakers, and state and local government experts, furthering the participants’ knowledge about the opportunities and challenges facing Virginia’s political and business communities. Participants will leave with the skills to be effective players in civic affairs of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The EPI can be customized to meet the needs of your corporate audience. From training sessions that meet the needs of sophisticated corporate executives with extensive experience in business and politics to programs that introduce new employees to the basics of the political process, we can design a program for your company.
