Polling Organizations

American Viewpoint

Founded in 1985, American Viewpoint provides quantitative and qualitative research in politics, corporate affairs, public policy, and government relations. They specialize in survey research, public opinion polling, communications research, and focus group moderation.

The Gallup Organization

For 60 years The Gallup Organization has provided measurement and analysis of people's attitudes, opinions, and behavior. Gallup also does marketing and management research, consulting, and training in corporations and institutions.

Mason Dixon News Media Polls

Since 1983, Mason Dixon News Media Polls have conducted statewide public opinion polls for television stations and daily newspapers. Their polls generally focus on state elections, state issues, and job performance of state officials.

Media Research Center

The Media Research Center was founded in 1987 as a conservative media watchdog organization. They study news and entertainment shows, as well as news magazines and newspapers to look for bias in the media.

American National Election Studies

American National Election Studies conducts national surveys of the American electorate in presidential and midterm election years and carries out research and development work through pilot studies in odd-numbered years.

The Pew Research Center

The Pew Research Center is an independent opinion research group that studies attitudes towards the press, politics and public policy issues. They are best known for regular national surveys that measure public attentiveness to major news stories.

The Pollingreport.com publishes the results of the latest surveys (by respected polling organizations like Gallup, Harris, Yankelovich, and Princeton Survey Research Associates) on health care, taxation, welfare, education, environmental policy, and the other major issues of the day.

The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research

Founded in 1947, The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research exists to promote use of public opinion in addressing problems faced by Americans and citizens of other nations. The Roper Center tries to increase international understanding and promote cross-national research.

The Tarrance Group

Zogby Poll

The Zogby Poll does polling and public opinion research in political, as well as for businesses, government and institutional clients.
